Mychal Lateef Adams, age 45, resident of Cibolo, Texas, passed away on May 26, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.
Mychal was born on December 8, 1980, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Harry and Mary Adams. He was baptized at an early age at New Hope Baptist Church in Anchorage, Alaska. He is an alumnus of Judson High School and was a member of the varsity football team. He also attended St. Philip’s College. He worked as an Inventory Manager at the Randolph AFB Commissary and O’Reilly Automotive Parts Warehouse.
Mychal enjoyed going to the movie theater. He loved supporting and watching his Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs play. He was a huge and very dedicated fan of both teams.
Mychal will be remembered for his kindness, humor, wit, and his love of family. He carried a quiet strength and love that will never be forgotten. We will love you always. Rest in peace.
He is preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandparents Herbert and Mary Ziegler , paternal Robert and Margie Adams, Aunt Margaret Adams-Birden, and Uncle Howard Adams.
He is survived by his parents, Harry and Mary Adams; his son, Jedaiah Adams; his brother, Marques Adams; his sister, Kwani Williams; his niece, Kaya Williams; plus a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 9, 2026, at Resurrection Baptist Church in Schertz, Texas.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on June 11, 2026, at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, Louisiana.
